Placing an Order

I DO NOT SEE MY DISCOUNT OR PROMO CODE

When checking out our website, you can enter a promo code in the initial shopping cart screen OR on the payment page where you enter your credit card information. You should see the discount in the cost breakdown portion of the checkout process. Make sure to press APPLY when add your promo code.

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

You will be able to find your order status in your account. Click here to sign into your account. The initial screen will show your order history. Click on the relevant order to see the status of your order.

IS IT SAFE TO USE MY CREDIT CARD ON YOUR SITE?

CAN I ORDER A GIFT CARD?

Gift Cards are now available to purchase on the website, click here. Bogs gift cards can only be redeemed on our website, no through our retailers.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?

We accept Visa, American Express, Discover, Master Card, PayPal, and Afterpay. We do not accepts checks, money orders, COD's, or cash. We can only accept Canadian-issued Credit Cards.

WHAT IF MY PROMOTION CODE ISN'T WORKING?

Some promotions are valid only for specific products or for orders meeting a certain amount. If a promo code isn't working, double-check to make sure your order meets the terms applicable to that promotion. Please also check to make sure the deal hasn't expired. Promotional codes may not be applied to the purchase of Gift Cards.

WHAT IF I LIVE OUTSIDE OF CANADA AND WANT TO PLACE AN ORDER?

Unfortunately, we cannot ship internationally from our website. We can only ship within Canada and we can only accept Canadian-issued credit cards.

BOGS Shipping Policy

SHIPPING POLICY

We ship to all of Canada with a combination of Canada Post and Couriers. At this time, we cannot deliver to Post Office Boxes. We will not accept orders shipping to forwarding companies.

Orders will usually ship within 2-3 business days. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays are not processed until the following business day.

An automated e-mail will be sent when your order is shipped and your funds are captured. If we do not have a product in stock, you will receive an email with cancellation information.

BOGS° offers FREE Shipping on all regularly priced merchandise (excludes products purchased from the clearance category that are marked down on-site).

General Product Questions

WHAT IS THE CALF CIRCUMFERENCE OF A BOGS BOOT?

For women our standard calf circumference in our tall boots is 14 inches. To find the exact measurements please review the product details of each style.

IS THE NEROPRENE PORTION WATERPROOF?

Yes, Bogs Neo-Tech™ is a flexible synthetic rubber which is 100% waterproof. It helps insulate as well as keep you dry.

WHAT IF I HAVE PVC OR LATEX ALLERGIES?

Bogs are PVC free, but some are made with latex for stretch and comfort.

CAN I WASH THESE BOOTS IN THE WASHING MACHINE?

The following styles are machine washable:

Our Baby BOGS°, Baby Elliott, Baby & Kids BMOC, Kids Kicker Strap, Kids Kicker Slip On & Women’s Kicker Loafer.

When washing these boots use a gentle cycle and wash with cold water. Add half the usual dose of mild detergent. Remove your BOGS° from the washing machine and allow them to dry in the sun, stuffed with paper (or something similar) to preserve their shape.

WHAT SOCKS WOULD YOU RECOMMEND FOR OPTIMAL WARMTH?

We recommend wearing one pair of medium-weight, moisture wicking socks with your Bogs. Wool is the best. The air surrounding your feet is what keeps them warm. Bogs are designed to capture your body heat and insulate it from the outside elements. Layering socks potentially inhibits air flow within the Bogs and circulation in your feet.

HOW DO BOGS FIGHT FOOT ODOR?

Bogs feature DuraFresh – an all-natural bio-technology that activates to fight odor.

DO YOU CARRY WIDE SIZES?

Select styles use our Flex Width insole system which allows you to adjust the fit to the width of your foot.

DO YOU CARRY HALF SIZES?

Yes, in select styles.

HOW DO YOU DETERMINE BOGS TEMPERATURE RATINGS?

Temp ratings are a guideline to communicate warmth. It’s important to note that each person is unique and has a different circulation that impacts warmth.

To assign the temperature rating, we use a cold box test method. This test puts stainless steel balls with wire probes down inside the boots. The boots are then put in a freezer and the temperature is reduced every 30 minutes. When the boots show more than a ten degree variance from the ambient temperature, then the boots have reached their warmth limit.

ARE BOGS KNOCK-OFFS AT CERTAIN RETAILERS COMPARABLE IN QUALITY?

No, Bogs knock-offs typically contain no natural rubber, which in turn leads to no insulation. This means they typically offer no warmth to the foot.

WHERE ARE BOGS MANUFACTURED?

BOGS are designed in the US and manufactured in the Dominican Republic and China.

DO BOGS HAVE HARMFUL CHEMICALS?

BOGS is committed to using safer substances to protect consumers, workers, sourcing communities, and the natural environment. We carefully consider what goes into the manufacturing process of our products, and as part of this commitment we have recently adopted the AFIRM Restricted Substance List (RSL) of chemicals based on the strictest global legislations including EU REACH, the US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), as well as the restrictions in the voluntary OekoTex Standard 100. This RSL applies to all BOGS products and we are implementing it throughout our supply chain as quickly as possible.

ARE BOGS PFAS-FREE?

Our focus is on producing safe and environmentally friendly footwear. We started phasing out PFAS in 2021, and we will be eliminating them entirely from any new production starting in 2024. PFAS are a class of synthetic chemicals that have been widely used for their water-resistant properties. All of our adult and kids’ footwear will use PFAS-Free waterproof technologies moving forward.

RETURN POLICY

We gladly accept returns of unworn, undamaged, or defective merchandise purchased online at regular price for full refund or exchange within 30 days of the original purchase.

Items purchased at a sale or discounted price can be returned for an exchange or store credit within 30 days of the original purchase.

Footwear should be tested and tried on carpeted surfaces only. The shoes must not show any visible signs of wear and should be returned in the original packaging.

We offer free Canada Post returns for orders including regularly priced merchandise.

You are also welcome to ship your merchandise to our returns department using your own method. For your protection, we recommend obtaining a tracking number and/or insurance from the Post Office, UPS, or whatever means you choose to return your merchandise.

Please Note: Our company is committed to utilizing sustainable packaging materials, which is why your order may have arrived shrink wrapped, rather than in a traditional cardboard box. If you need to place an exchange or return, we kindly ask that you find a larger box or plastic bag to ship your shoe box(es) back to our warehouse. Unfortunately, if our shoe boxes are simply taped shut and shipped, we end up needing to re-box the damaged shipment, lessening the efficacy of our sustainability efforts. We appreciate your help!

REFUNDS

Refunds of items purchased at full price will be made in the form of the original payment. Funds will be returned to your credit card, PayPal or Afterpay (upon receipt of the items) for its original purchase price. Shipping charges are not refundable. Please allow 8-10 business days for processing

EXCHANGE POLICY

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to exchange any unworn items purchased from our website. We will provide FREE outbound shipping for the new item(s). Final sale items may not be returned or exchanged.

Our portal offers two exchange options:

Easy Exchange – You’d like to exchange an item you bought for a new size, width or color.

Personalized Exchange – You’d like to exchange an item you bought for a different style or item.

A customer service representative will reach out with any questions about your request (ex. there’s a price difference between the item being exchanged and the requested new item).

Please allow 14 business days for your exchange to arrive to our warehouse, and the exchange item to depart our Montreal facility. You will receive a confirmation email when the exchange item leaves our warehouse with tracking information.

Please note that we do not accept exchanges of items purchased from third-party retailers (e.g., Amazon, REI, etc.). We recommend getting in touch with any third-party retailer directly for information on their exchange policies.

No refunds or adjustments will be made for any original shipping and/or handling charges.

Gift Cards

How do your gift cards work?

Visit www.bogsfootwear.ca and select the intended gift amount. For gift card requests over $500, please call our customer care team at customercare@bogsfootwear.ca

Then it’s time to check your inbox. You’ll receive the eGift Card information to the email associated with the purchase. You can use it yourself, or forward the email to your recipient. The code and pin can be used during checkout! The gift card keeps track of the balance, so you can use it on one purchase and then use it again on another with the remaining balance.

All gift card sales are FINAL.

How can I redeem my BOGS gift card?

Gift cards can be used at www.bogsfootwear.ca.

REDEEMING YOUR GIFT CARD ONLINE:

During checkout, enter your gift card number and pin on the billing page.

Click "Apply".

Once applied, fill in the remaining information and press “Place Order”.

Please note: If you still have a balance remaining on your order, you may select a different tender type to cover the remaining balance.

If the total cost of the merchandise is less than the amount on your gift card, your order will be processed and the balance will remain on the card so you can use it again. To check the balance of your gift card, click here.

How do I send a digital gift card to someone else?

Select the gift amount, add it to your cart and checkout. Then it’s time to check your inbox. You’ll receive the Gift Card Email containing the gift card purchase code. Forward the email to your recipient. They’ll be able to use their gift code during checkout!

Can a gift card be used on international orders?

No – at this time our gift cards cannot be used on international orders.

Can I reload my BOGS gift card?

Not at this time, but you are welcome to purchase a new gift card.

Can I purchase a physical gift card?

Are there shipping charges on physical gift cards?

Standard shipping is complimentary. Express delivery is available for an additional charge. Gift cards are sent separately from other items ordered at the same time, so any shipping charges will still apply to other merchandise.
